This design, from Layla Homan, will be used for the 2026 Pro-Life T-Shirt Day on Friday, April 17th.

All contestants will receive a $10 gift card to McDonald's, and the winning design will receive a $300 cash prize. We thank our judges, Allison Moeller, Heather Stammen, and Lisa Homan, for volunteering their time.

The Mercer County Right to Life Sweetheart Dance will be held at Romers Catering in St. Henry on Saturday, February 14th, 2026. Doors open at 5:00 PM with the meal at 6:00 PM ($15 meal optional with RSVP online (click below)or stop in at the St. Henry office) Questions: call 419.678.8482

A $5 raffle ticket donation is your cost for the dance. You must have a dance ticket in order to purchase a meal ticket.

Music is provided by Walt Schmitmeyer Band from 7:00–10:00 pm. Many raffle & door prizes will be given away! We hope to see you there!

MCRTL Oratory Contest: Video entries are to be submitted by February 20th.

Mercer County High School Juniors and Seniors are eligible for the Mercer County Right to Life sponsored Oratory Contest. The National Right to Life Committee requires the contestants to “research, write, and present an original pro-life speech on abortion, infanticide, or euthanasia.” The speech should address one of these topics directly, using other topics only as support. Students are encouraged to use up-to-date factual information in the construction of their speeches. They are to present a 5 to 7-minute speech. Contestants may use notes. Presentations will be judged in four areas: introduction, content, presentation, and conclusion. Video entries are to be submitted by February 20th. For video entry: Please include the following in the message portion of your e-mail: name, high school, grade, and address. Please have your name in the subject portion of the e-mail. Please look for a confirmation email upon receiving your submission. It will be sent no later than Feb 22nd. If you don't receive a confirmation email, please resubmit your video entry: to prolifegeneration.mercercounty@outlook.com. The finalists will be announced via e-mail on February 27th.

The top six finalists will be invited to present their speech in person on Sunday, March 8th, at 1:00 pm at the Lukein Conference Room in Mercer Health Hospital. Please enter the West Entrance and walk past Hazelnut Coffee.

*The above cash prizes are for those finalists who present on March 9th. All other contestants will receive a $100 participation prize.
The top two placing contestants will be eligible to compete in the 2026 Ohio RTL State Oratory contest in May 2026.
